Students
Every year we invite applications from international students to join our graduate program to work in a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment.
Our students come from a number of different scientific backgrounds (medical sciences, life sciences, pharmacy). Graduation with a title equivalent to PhD is possible after three years (Dr. rer. nat., Dr. nat. med.) or with a Dr. med. or Dr. rer. medic. degree after two years.
Each student is advised by their Principal Investigator and two additional independent scientists from the University of Cologne and Bayer Health Care AG. This mentorship ensures interdisciplinary support from both the academic and industry environments.

We accept applications from national and international graduates at all times. A master or diploma in life sciences, chemistry, or pharmacy is required. To apply please use our application form for PhD students. Also, medical students enrolled at the Universtity of Cologne can apply to the program, using the application form for medical students.
