Interdisciplinary cooperation is essential for the subject of pharmacology. Therefore, at the Center for Pharmacology, professional groups, such as pharmacists, physicians, biologists, biochemists, and toxicologists, contribute their expertise to research and teaching, and qualifying continuing education opportunities are offered to all scientists.

For physicians, residency training is possible in the fields of "Pharmacology, Toxicology," and "Clinical Pharmacology."

Pharmacists can further qualify as "Specialist Pharmacists for Drug Information."

For natural scientists, further training is possible to become a specialist pharmacologist (DGPT).

In addition, human medicine and pharmacy students can complete part of their practical year (PJ) at Institutes I and II.
